HISTORY In an ancient times, Tharoda village was situated near Amarkot area of Sindhpradesh. Tharoda was known as a village of CHARAN community. Charan community is well known for their devotion and ritual towards MAA HINGLAAJ. There is a very well known temple of MAA HINGLAAJ at Baluchistan in Pakistan. It was sad that many devotee charan were went to that temple by walking to take darshan of MAA HINGLAAJ. Amogst them, One charan named Bapaldetha used to visit that temple with all his devotion. He was a very great devotee of MAA HINGLAAJ. It was said that Bapaldetha took 7 visits of that temple and MAA HINGLAAJ was very happy with their worship. Once Bapaldetha were sitting in front of MAA’s Idol in the temple he suddenly went into the samadhimudra and saw that his son died by the snakebite and his wife also left her body due to extream shock of loosing her son. Bapaldetha was very much sad and worried He told to MAA that MAA, I have nothing to loose, I have to leave this world and took sanyaas for my rest of the life. MAA appears and said to him that, Don’t worry my son! You are my child I will never let you down. Just listen to me carefully. You will marry a girl named deval and I will take birth at your home as a girl child. If that child having punctured ear lobule (boot) you have to name her as a boot bhavani. Simalteneously, In MARVAD area, Ujala named village having one very kind man named bhalo. MAA appear in bhala’s dreams and said that one of my son named Bapaldetha will come at your place, take care of him very carefully and marry your daughter named deval to him. Bhala was very happy and excited. On a next day Bapaldetha came Ujala from Sindh, Bhala identify him and took tim to his house. He was a great host and take care of bapaldetha with love and emotions. He arranged wedding of her daughter deval and bapaldetha. On a wedding day, there were a very soulful enviornment, charan females sung wedding song, musical instruments like sharnayi and dhol were playing. On a wedding place when deval and bapaldetha was sit for wedding ritual, Deval saw one women with black saree, during the ritual of fera, she continued watching her, she observe that that lady was appear sometimes like young child, old women, teenage girl etc. suddenly after fera MAA appears towards deval, and ask her to make a wish as her wedding gift. She asks deval to ask about money, home, animals or gold. Deval told that she does not want anything but after insist she asked that MAA give me very bright child and everytime whenever I take birth as a human please give me birth in CHARAN kul. MAA said I have already promise to bapaldetha about your child and she disappears. As per MAAs blessings MAA bhagvati boot was born in bapaldetha home approximate on the day of Vikam Samvat 1451 Ashadhi sudh beej with punctured boot. Bapaldetha was very blessed and happy that MAA HINGLAAJ took birth on his house. After that two sisters named BALAD and BECHRA which were also one roop of MAA HINGLAAJ also born after MAA but bhavani at bapaldetha’s home. So with this history MAA BOOT BHAVANI is well known as a Devi who fulfill all the wishes of her devotees.
story 1 In ancient times when British government were rulling over INDIA. Once maharaja of Bhavnagar state named Bhavsinhji and British chancellor set in same train from Ahmedabad. The train was running in the way from Dholka to Bhavnagar state. At that time, Arnej did not have any railway station hence none of the train were stopped at that place. Maharaja Bhavsinhji saw the flag of the temple of MAA BUT BHAVANI from train. He ordered to stop the train for few minutes, he wanted to take darshan of MAA. The British Chancellor was completely disagree with the decision of maharaja and tell we are not beliving in your MAA and all. We are only beliving in our GOD, so stopping train here is not valid. Maharaja alone went for the darshan to the temple, simultaneously The british governer ordered the guard to carry on the train without maharaja. The British chancellor was waited for long time but the train is not moving foreward. He felt that this might be the planning of maharaja and guard so he became angry. Meanwhile suddenly he felt that all the compartment of that train was out of tract. The british chancellor was shocked and finally he belived that there is some supernatural power of goddess is there and hence this incidence happened. He also went with maharaj for the darshan of MAA BUT BHAVANI and took her blessings. Hence, british government decided to provide chudali and srifal to Arnej temple whenever the train passes from the Arnej station and this ritual still going on till now. Railway gives chundandi, prasad and salute of blowing whistal whenever train passes from Arnej.
story 2 It was said that before 250 years ago MAA BUT BHAVANI appeared in mysterious way at that time one man named MERIYO BHUVO known for his great devotion towards MAA. He used to talk with MAA BUT BHAVANI through his instinct in dreams. One day He asked MAA to appear in front of him he wants to do “sakshaat darshan” of MAA. MAA said that Beta I will come in front of you but I am sure that you will not recognize me. MERYO BHUVO said No MAA, I will recognize you please come in front of me I want to do darshan and wants your grace and blessings. MAA said okay I will. After some days the NAVRATRI begins, Meriyo bhuvo moved to halvad from his town; in midway MAA came in a form of old poor lady and asked him to drop her till halvad, but after seeing her old poor looks meriyo bhuvo rudly said that, look at yourself you are so poor and ugly I don’t have time to drop you, and he moved. In return path MAA block his way as a sixteen year old beautiful girl and said Meriyo to drop her to his town. Meriyo readily agreed and took her in his cart in a midway his intentions was not remained good and he tries to look at her in bad way and suddenly MAA appeared in very huge and scary formation and she got angry on him.
